Uglies Series Book Redesign

This book series redesign focuses on the Author's style of writing over the content of the individual books in order to create a complete set.

The "Uglies" Series is written by Scott Westerfeld, an author of over eighteen books, predominantly within the science-fiction, fantasy realm. This is the inspiration for my design. It focuses on the futuristic technological ideals particularly prominent in the "Uglies" Series. The microchip memory board lines featuring in the design as they hold particular relevance within the "Uglies" books. They signify the hugely technological futuristic city in which the books are set; and draw reference to the metal grid structures which run underneath the city where the books are set.
